So far I’ve handed out three…yes only three..handfuls of candy to the little ghouls and goblins here in our neighborhood.
It’s just turned dark though…and there’s still time. Ahh, even as I type…there rings the bell and Judd the Wonder dog goes nuts. Three more! And its 6:40!
What evil lurks in the night on All Saints’ [...]

I ordered some new parts from BeemerBoneyard this morning and they will be here on Wednesday.
Last Thursday, before it rained, I took a look at my rear pads to find the inside pad about half as thin as the outside pad. These are the BMW pads and cost about $60. I assumed the little caliper [...]

The ride was fun but cool. See the whole story over at the rides page.
The diet was only mildly successful this time. Lost an additional 9 pounds, bringing the total for three weeks to 21 pounds. I thought it would be more, but I’m still happy about it.

After day three you’re able to weigh and see the progress. I didn’t do it the first time ’round but I did [...]

This is day 3. The diet seems easier this time. I didn’t really start to feel it today until I just got home and saw that Reese’s cereal on the table. Day three is the toughest. Tomorrow its bananas and skim milk…the REAL whitewater! Downhill from here! Woo hoo!
Our local BMW club is having a [...]

Day 2 of the second session of the now famous soup diet! The mostly cabbage and other veggie soup is slightly more tolerable today. I actually ate the whole bowl at lunch just a few minutes ago…along with a nice green salad with no dressing. Just salt and pepper with a little vinegar hot juice [...]

She sits idle in the garage patiently waiting. This has been yet another disappointing weekend for riding. I really had plans to go out on the beautiful sunny day yesterday.
Something happened! Spousal duties…I know, I know. I already said I had permission to ride. Turns out, I felt like I was leaving her (spouse, not [...]
