While I may have had a better riding day than yesterday, I can’t remember when.
I left in the dark (05:30) and arrived home in the dark (19:30) making it a long, long day…But tremendously satisfying!
I met two other riders down in mid-town on the way south and then we picked up a 4th down below [...]

The weather is predicted to be cloudy with possible chances of rain. However that doesn’t deter this little motley group. A R1150GS, a R1150R and a R65 Airhead ridden by…well I’ll just let that be for now. We are to meet early in the morning down in midtown off 14th Street and head south. It’s [...]

I thought maybe I’d ride down to see my Pop this weekend…down in lower Alabama, near Mobile. I had forgotten all about the Stagecoach Ride-In down there in Stockton, sponsored each year by the Alabama BMW folks. Then Wednesday night I get an email from our Georgia BMWMOGA ride captain, Marvin Wilson. He remarked about [...]

And riding is what I’ve been up to. Saturday morning brought a BMW dealer open house which [...]

After last Sunday’s long cold ride to Summerville I got home, put the Twinmax on the throttle bodies and did a nice fine tuning sunchronization. -got the valves adjusted Saturday- It all really helped. Today the bike [...]

A few of us gathered early yesterday morning to brave the cool temps (began at 25F)for a nice Sunday ride up to Summerville for a lunch at Jim’s. The ride was very pleasant and the cool weather just made it a little uncomfortable in the morning. This photo is me sitting there unaware of the camera [...]

I was bundled up downstairs last night watching the news and weather reports where the nicely manicured gentleman told me that Saturday was to be the coldest day of the year so far. I think it’s down into the teens this morning! YIKES!
I have a club ride coming up for tomorrow morning. However, the temps [...]

Without a computer up and working at my desk at home
it is really hard to get a good post off to this blog.
My work firewall prevents me from going to the site so
I’m posting via email from Yahoo.
I heard from my wife, who heard it from a co-worker,
who heard it at her church…which I have [...]
