After stressing over my overly long new Iron Butt tag, I decided to go ahead and chop off the rear fender so the tag could fit. Did that Friday afternoon. Now I need to find someplace to re-install the round BMW logo I had on the rear fender.

Last September I rode the Iron Butt 1000 mile Saddlesore and the Bun Burner 1500 mile rides in one loop over a two day period. The IB Association has been undergoing some staff changes but have finally caught up with my ride documentation.
Holy cow! it has been a while. I had to go back to work last week and I must get through the depressing period of readjusting to getting up an appointed hour to shower, dress, eat and head to the school for long days of hob-nobbing, as it were, with little chilluns all day.
