The BMW Motorcycle Owners of Georgia had its annual December meeting at Ryan’s feed trough in Dawsonville on Saturday. The morning began with light rain and some icey stuff coming down with threats of snow flurries. I called the time number and it was 36 degrees, so I decided to wimp out and drive my truck to the meeting.

I got there and ate breakfast with the guys waiting for others to arrive for the meeting. Only about 10 total showed up for this event but despite the chilly temps it was a bright beautiful day and I regretted not riding my bike.

It was an enjoyable meeting though, with nothing of substance accomplished except some good talking and visiting with each other.I came away full and drove home to watch the Florida vs. Alabama football game which ended the day on a bad note since the Gators lost. Oh well, there’s always next year!
