The past 2 weeks have been very nice! I spent a whole week with my Dad and other family members down in south Alabama, then this New Years holiday week I’ve had time to just sleep in late…eat when I like…go to movies..and FREEZE MY ASS OFF!

What is it with this frigid arctic front pounding us now? Last night and tonight…and for the immediate future, the temps are dropping into the teens each night. This is way too much cold air for this old fart.

Now I have to get up early…like 6:30 in the morning when the coldness is at its peak, and take a shower and leave the house for work. Thank goodness for the guy who planned a teacher work day the first day back. I will have a meeting in the morning and the dress code is very relaxed and casual. No kids to teach until Tuesday! Everybody’s hoping for the predicted snow sometime this week to preempt a full week with a snow day. HaHa!
