I’m reminded of the old Mamas and Papas’ song “Monday, Monday”…you just can’t trust that day. As it turned out the subfreezing temps that abound of late have note allowed the dreaded snow and ice stuff to melt except just long enough to get really slick and wet before refreezing each night. The roads are mostly free of the stuff but a lot of secondary roads, parking lots at schools, and people’s driveway’s etc. were still iced over last night.

For that reason school was cancelled again today…MONDAY…Now that makes 4 1/2 days we’ve had off here. As much as I hate the old pedagogical “factory” I work at, I really would like to get away from this house and do something different.

Also the mail finally arrived today! Woo Hoo! I have a new Netflix video to watch tonight, but my seat has still not arrived from UPS. Where are those “bastiges”?

The sun is out and its now almost 40 degrees outside making the sluchy icey crap melt off pretty fast. I’m looking for the “Brown”.
