Not much time to post here this morning, but I must say I am so happy to see the warmer temps the last few days. I rode back from Florida yesterday in 60ish weather coming up through the central part of the panhandle near Tallahassee and Dothan, Alabama. By the time I hit the big 4 lane US Hwy 431 it was nice and warm enough to shed the heated vest and balaclava under the helmet.

The rally was….Well…the typical rally, and the more of these I attend the more I am conveinced that I really don’t like to attend rallies like this. There’s just too many people and not enough things to drink…and no campfire…except for the big central one where lots of folks I never met are gathered. It was more fun just to hang under the shelter with my buddies from Georgia, and I think they all felt the same way. I’m not sure I’ll go to too many more rallies, except our own GMR in May.
I find it more relaxing to ride to Virginia and North Carolina to visit old friends up there during the Fall and Summer months. This winter and rainy riding is becoming very annoying.

The new seat from Don Weber at Mr. Eds Moto is superb! I rode 350 miles on Friday, 250 on Sunday and another 320 yesterday…and my butt feels terrific! No sore tailbone. No sore butt at all! It was great! The only thing I felt getting sore was my left neck shoulder area, so I may need some barbacks.
Pics from the rally later…what few I took.

Hey Phil,
How about a picture of that seat when you get a chance.
Great to see somebody getting out and riding! Also nice to see you have added the seat to the GS……And the Bar-Backs will help you as they did me for the same pain.
